More Pics From 1985 Added!

Email This Story To A Friend

I’ve just updated the Megadeth live in 1985 section of Rattlehead HQ’s Image Portal.

There are 16 more photos from the Killing For A Living tour added, sent to me by Bill Hawkins. The new photos were taken at the San Diego show. Bill had this to say about the show:

“I have 16 pix from the ‘85 San Diego show, the gig was at Pallasaides Roller Rink, along with openers Hirax, and if my bong resin brain serves me well, Exiter headlined. one of the photos is of Dave with Exiter bassist Allen Johnson singing the sing along portion of pounding metal.”

Email This Story To A Friend

Thanks to Megadeth forums user, David Lee (username, Servant Dave) you can now see pictures of Megadeth performing at Gigantour with the new “United Abominations” backdrop, and with James LoMenzo.

Click here to go to the Rattlehead HQ Image Portal’s page for the 9th September Gigantour.

Also, another Megadeth forums user, that goes by the name of “Spinecraft” has posted a very comprehensive report of the San Diego Gigantour. Read it below.

Overkill lit the fuse and Megadeth was the dynamite. The place exploded as they launched through Blackmail the Universe. Shawn sounded fantastic - I think his knee is better now. This was also our first taste of James, who was really into it and has a great bass pose.

Otherwise, I look forward to updating you with some real Mega-news soon.

Rattlehead HQ Merchandise directory launched

Email This Story To A Friend

I have compiled a directory of Megadeth merchandise suppliers/online stores.

Find it here: www.rattleheadhq.com/merch.html

It has replaced the idea of having a “Music” page, which has been “under construction” since the conception of this site. I currently cannot find a logical way to do it that’s bandwidth effective. If a way is realised, you will see the music page’s return.

You may have also noticed the new “Search” section. You now have the ability to search Rattlehead HQ either from the home page, or the search page. It is a google powered search that should deliver the results you’re looking for.

Rattlehead HQ Sells Out!

Email This Story To A Friend

If you now visit the Rattlehead HQ discography and home videos pages, you will see links to where to buy everything they list!

I have decided to join the Amazon affiliates program, in order to help pay for this website. BUT! Hating normal flashing, “BUY ME, BUY ME!” adverts, I decided only to use the product links, which fit in with the colour scheme of this site, and do not distract you from your Rattlehead HQ browsing.

To see an example, go to the “The System Has Failed” discography page, and look to the right hand side of the page.

Rattlehead HQ’s ‘Greatest Hits: Back To The Start’ Ecard posted!

Email This Story To A Friend

About a month ago, after voulenteering to produce the official Ecard for Megadeth’s upcoming ‘Greatest Hits: Back To The Start’ album, I finally got accepted by EMI, but with them saying they “weren’t impressed” with my work so far.

The work I had to produce needed to be pro, so I set out to produce just that!

My first draft was to the sound of Holy Wars, but I was told that the Ecard needed to be “10 times better”, and so the Holy Wars idea was scrapped, as I found it diffucult to work with.
