Just a quick line to say hey and catch up with you all. My heads still reeling from the fantastic Pac-Rim Tour-O-Duty. What a great surprise to see the enthusiasm of all the crowds from Thailand through to Japan and then on to Gigantour Austrailia. I was particularly impressed with the turnout in Singapore and Korea. Definitely the best part of my job is to see new places and meet new fans and on both counts, I was not disappointed. Metal is alive and well all over the world! To our Japanese fans, thanks for the hospitality, me and the boys had a great time at hangin’ and bangin’ with our friends at the clubs. A big shout out to our new friends from our Aussie Gigantour… Static X, Devil Driver, Lacuna Coil, & Bring Me the Horizon, you guys really made it a great show and a great hang, hell… I’d pay money to see this lineup of bands anytime!

I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving yesterday. I unfortunately slept through most of it - I fell asleep during the 2nd quarter of the Green Bay/Detroit game, and woke up during the 4th quarter of the Dallas game. Needless to say, I missed out on most of the food, etc. but man, I needed to sleep - that 16 hour time difference from Brisbane to Atlanta is killing me I feel pretty good today though - I think I am going to take a good walk on this awesome looking Fall day. Ok, enough of that………….
MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine’s new Legends Cup Coffee is now available for purchase online. Mustaine says: “I have personally selected this coffee from thousands available worldwide. It is by far the best-tasting coffee I have ever come across. This is the coffee that gets me up in the morning and keeps me shreddin’ all day long.”

“Far and wide, thank you all for you fabulous support at the concerts and other various get-togethers. We wrapped up 2007 in one of the warmest and kindest countries to host heavy metal concerts.
“I look forward to a long relationship with the Aussies, if not with just Gigantour, but definitely Megadeth too.
“I enjoyed seeing some of the last runs airport friends, except hair-toucher.
“I am going to reflect on a very up-and-down year over the holidays and get myself prepare to come back even stronger next year.
The Rock ‘n Roll Fantasy Camp Podcast sat down last week with former MEGADETH and current F5 bassist David Ellefson, who talked about his experience at camp, his current projects, how he got into and out of MEGADETH, and if he’d ever work with Dave Mustaine again.
Guitar World magazine has posted an interview with MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine. A series of 10 video clips featuring Mustaine sounding off on such topics as his early influences, his former bandmates, his 2002 arm injury and writing about politics can be found at GuitarWorld.com. One of the clips — in which Mustaine talks about whether he would ever write a completely “political” album — can be viewed below.
