Had a great time/show last night in N.Y., but the thing that sucks for me is that we never have a day off in N.Y. to fully absorb and see so many things that the city has to offer. Though I did get a very small but amazing dose right after the show……………..

According to Megadeth.com, Megadeth’s new video for the song “Never Walk Alone” will premiere exclusively on the official Megadeth MySpace page Wednesday, September 26! Blabbermouth.net is reporting that Christine Carney of MP3.com conducted an interview with MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine while the band was in San Francisco last week. Dave talks about five albums that influenced him, heroes he’s yet to meet, and his “bullshit-o-meter.” The audio podcast for the interview is also available in iTunes. I have got to be one of the luckiest guys in the world. Not only do I have a great family and a great band, staff, and crew, but to have all of the thoughtful Megadeth (and even some “you-know-who!” fans too) leaving me messages here, sending me emails and calling me at home today or on my SayNow number - (619) 717-2000 - has got to be better than any drug (even the stuff that the toxic twins in the first line-up used to get!).

It is September 10th and I am back in the area I lived in when this all started. There is something very mysterious to me still everytime I come here.

I will always love having lived here in the Bay Area. We are going out on the town tonight in the Wharf and see The City.

Megadeth.com is reporting that Megadeth are to kick off the Pacific Rim tour in Bangkok, Thailand at the Bangkok Hall this October 23rd! Tickets go on sale Sept 15th.

Also reported is that YeboTV.com is supplying a live stream of Megadeth in concert from the Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday, Sept 23rd at 7:30 PM ET. You will need to register at Yebotv.com to catch this live event! Dont miss it! Register here.

In other news, ex-Guns ‘N’ Roses/current Velvet Revolver guitarist, Slash recently praised Dave Mustaine in an interview for the cover of a new Sam Ash catalog. In the interview Slash was quoted as saying, “I still think that Dave Mustaine is an all-time genius heavy metal guitar player. He’s amazing and he always picks great guitar players for his band. I don’t know the name of the new one [Glen Drover] but he’s really good.”

Britain’s Bring Me The Horizon have been confirmed for 3 of the 5 Gigantour 2007, Australia dates. This now makes the lineup, Megadeth, Static X, Devildriver, Lacuna Coil and Bring Me The Horizon. The band have been confirmed for Nov 13 in Melbourne, Nov 15 in Sydney, and Nov 18 in Brisbane. Vocalist Oli Sykes says, “We can’t wait to get out to the Australia. We’ve done loads of touring this year, going to new places and meeting new people and it’s been great. I actually used to live in Australia, but haven’t been back for years. To be able to return to tour with Megadeth is a dream come true.”
