As we near the departure time for our next tour, its sinking in that in just several more days, we will be thrashing again!!!
Its been a long time since we were in Alaska and in fact that was one of the last places that we played “The Conjuring”.
I can’t wait to see the boys again and I will call you back on my SayNow cell tomorrow and let ya hear a bit of what we are doing at rehearsal.

This last week has been a lot of driving up and down the coast and I have so many things that are going on and so many things that are coming up I feel like I am going pull a “Scanners” if I keep it all in.

Megadeth.com is reporting that MegaFanClub member, Jeff Payne, was one of the lucky fan club members invited to the video shoot of Megadeth’s “Never Walk Alone” at Cheyenne Studios in Castain, California on Tuesday. Jeff reports: “…The video director instructed us that he was ready for another full song, full band take. On the director’s count, Never Walk Along cranked in the studio and Megadeth was on fire. All of the fans, of course, including myself, were in awe. We were watching Megadeth shoot their next video. YEAH!” Read more and view the pics below, or here.

MFC 10 questions podcast
Droogies!
I have been trying, albeit unsuccessfully, to record a podcast and it is not sounding too good. I think the studio has made me too picky. Anyway, I will be sending this MFC only podcast of answers to “10 questions” and some small updates regularly.
I was thinking of asking Justis to ask me the questions, but his new quest to play in the Superbowl has drawn him away from music; and he is pretty good too so it is sad.

Shawn Drover has posted the following message on the official Megadeth forums about his preparations for the next leg of Megadeth’s “Tour of Duty”
randomness………
With about 3 weeks until the next tour leg begins, at this point I would usually be dusting off the drumset and sssssllllllllooooooowwwwwwwwllllly begin to rehearse on my own before we pick the tour ball back up - This time however, I have allready been playing quite a bit, and now with the 2 additional tunes being added to the set-list (which I am thrilled about, I must say) I am really looking forward to playing these tunes in a live setting. As a long-time advocate for the KIMB record/era, Playing “Skull [Beneath The Skin]” is going to be fun for me

For Ottawa-born Glen Drover, joining Megadeth in 2004 not only meant the chance to tour with a band he grew up listening to, but an opportunity to help reshape the future of what they would sound like.
And bringing his brother Shawn Drover into the mix as Megadeth’s new drummer made the experience all the more special. “It was definitely a magical moment, that’s for sure,” says the guitarist.
