Dave Mustaine has posted the following message on the Megadeth forums, concerning general updates, the greatest hits record, and the upcoming festival run, “Gigantour”
4.30 update
Droogies!
On Thursday I went up to LA to meet with my management for some important decisions about this summer.
First up was a friendly visit to ESP Guitars and Allen Steelgrave. We talked about the summer in both tours of Euro/UK and the US Gigantour, and how much fun we had doing meet and greets at music stores and that we would like to do some again while out on the road. I also suggested that Glen and I do some guitar clinics, although I have no idea what a clinic is. ESP is also considering being one of the sponsors for Gigantour and we have a really kewl idea that we are working on and will reveal soon.

Droogies!
What a weekend! I went up to Seymour Duncan’s 30th Anniversary party in Santa Barbara on Friday and man was I blown away! I had no idea that Seymour was such a fantastic guitarist!!!
Unbelievable!
I also saw two other Artists of Seymour’s; George Lynch and a lady named Kat or Cat that was with Prince at one time. George was really good, as was Cat/Kat and there were numerous other unknown players that just got up and jammed. It gave me some great ideas for inviting some of you to a party and jamming with me and the boys.

Dave Mustaine has posted the following message on the Megadeth forums, which is an update about the upcoming “Gigantour” festival run, and the places it will be visiting.
Dave mentions that he has asked Overkill to fill in on the main stage for the dates that Dillinger Escape Plan are not available, and that he has instructed his tour manager to look into Gigantour dates for Europe, the UK and South America. The ball is already rolling about getting the festival to Australia, although it will probably be a different lineup.

One part of the post that stands out is that he mentions briefly that there is a possibility of Gigantour going to the Pacific Rim.
Here is the post:
Nippon and Oz in the rear view mirror
Droogies and She-Wolves!
Well, here is the post Asian Pacific tour post.
Upon arriving to Japan, I had told the boys, whom by now I hope you will agree deserve not to be compared to anyone in the past due to their humility and desire to spend time and get to know you all, as well as their musicianship, that we were going to Disneyland.
